Invited Talk: Nicolas Bouduban, Synthes

Synthes Innovation Task Force

Synthes ITF (Innovation Task Force) is a group of engineers that focus their work on the design of novel solutions in osteosynthesis. Innovations are possible in many fields: implantalogy, manufacturing technologies, or material sciences. A correct understanding of the clinical world and the collaboration of physicians are essential to realize interesting new concepts. Additionally, the contact with universities is important for new technology integrations. Novel ideas, a broad focus, and close collaboration with physicians and universities are the key points to make research and development in the field of osteosynthesis more dynamic.
