Problem with Windows Vista File Sharing Solved

Problem

I tried to access a shared folder on my Windows Vista Home Premium desktop PC from my Windows XP Professional notebook computer over a wireless network. This did not work. (The other way worked: I could access shared drives on my notebook from my desktop.)

Reason

Norton Internet Security's personal firewall prevented connections from my notebook.

Solution

I used Trust Control of Norton Internet Security and put my router in the trusted zone.
